On 14th November, we shared our learning about World War One with our parents and friends. Our pupils all dressed in WW1 outfits and were very proud to share their learning. Our families visited all our classrooms to view the fantastic work and also spent time in our allotment garden. During the week hundreds of Poppy shortbreads were baked by our staff and pupils and these were sold in our gym hall with tea and coffees. Our WW1 theme carried on with a special lunch that was prepared by our School Cook, Kathleen and her helpers, Margaret and Pamela. They put a huge amount of effort into preparing an authentic lunch including Spam Fritters, Corn Beef Hash and WW1 Cakes.
